I received these biocellulose masks directly from Ceracoco back then in May'16 *whoooppps, long overdue review, this is because I like to save up biocellulose masks for the last, haha.* and I've only finished using all of them by end of August/early Sept, I can't even remember but I recorded their performances in my phone's note app and my notebook.
I remembered that I finished my last piece of Innisfree biocellulose mask thought I won't be getting any biocellulose masks until I have a decent income since they're quite pricey for a piece. And then suddenly these came in the mail from Korea, I felt so happy!!!!! it is like a 'replacement/biocellulose mask backup' gift, haha. Thank you, Ceracoco!❤
Ceracoco is a new Korean brand. These biocellulose masks, a mild cleanser and a ceramide cream are their only current products. I think Red4Doors is the specified brand name for their masks. The masks are (from left to right) Red Treatment, Green Treatment and Yellow Treatment and they are themed as Color Treat Mask. For example, the Red Treatment mostly consisting of red fruit ingredients. Can you guess what they are?
I ended up using these up because they are expiring in 2017. As usual before proceeding with my reviews I am going to talk about the fitting first to give you guys the idea of the application
Upon opening, the biocellulose mask is tucked in the middle between 2 thin fabric-like protectors. It was a bit hard to separate it since it is thin. Once I pasted the mask on my face, it sticks right on and kind of hard to adjust. If I attempted to adjust, it will wrinkle. The mask feels like a thin jelly, I am not sure what it was made out of, the Innisfree one was made out of fermented soy, but I am not sure in this one. Fitting on the top part was fine but the chin area is a bit oversized for me, but there was no problem with flaps and un-clinging-ness whatsoever since it can be folded and sticks on well on the skin without slipping. Theres no dripping too since the essence were soaked by the mask.
Anyway, theres ALOT of essence in the packet, its even enough to apply on my whole body and parts of body twice. All masks smell has the same nyummy fruity scent.
Red4Doors Biocellulose Mask Color Treat Mask - Green Treatment
Main green ingredients are Aloe, Broccoli and Avocado
Full ingredients list. The proclaimed main ingredients are listed on the 2nd row. Alcohol is 4th on the list but I didn't experience any bad reaction
Experience:
The green treatment is the first one I've tried. This one has a watery cloudy light green essence. All masks have the same essence consistency but the color differs. Red Treatment has cloudy pinkish color, Yellow Treatment has light yellow color.
I kept on for 30mins since its desirable time was 20~40mins, however the forehead and nose areas were 100% dried on the minute of 10 (I do not know about you but I become worried if a mask completely dries on me). I thought there was not so much essence in those areas. At this time, I learned that I should dip the the mask into its essence beforehand (before unfolding it). The lacking of essence could be from the backings, since they are like preventing the actual mask from mixing with its essence in the packet.
Results:
It soothed my redness, left skin moisturized, hydrated, dries to matte, no sticky feeling and skin became clearer. Green mask is targeted for lifting but I am not sure if I saw any of lifting results.
Red4Doors Biocellulose Mask Color Treat Mask - Red Treatment
The main red fruit ingredients are Pomegranate, Tomato, Grapefruit
Results:
Moisturized, hydrated skin, gives me some glow and did make my complexion to look awake. This is really vitalizing indeed.
Red4Doors Biocellulose Mask Color Treat Mask - Yellow Treatment
Main yellow ingredients are Mango, Yuzu and Papaya. I think I never masked with any of these ingredients before!
Results:
This one smells lightly of citrus scent. It indeed brightened my skin, gives dewy-ness, supple, moisturized and hydrated skin. However, I noticed a pimple thats wanting to come out on my chin the next morning. I had one left of this mask that time and didn't want to use it again so I gave it away to Oppa.
My Final Thoughts:
These biocellulose masks does what they claimed to. I love how it has tons of remaining essence inside the packet and love the fact that it is a fun themed mask. Overall I think they are just okay. I was actually expecting more from these since the results of the Innisfree biocellulose mask lasted for 2 days on me. this series is the second biocellulose masks I've ever tried. I may or may not repurchase these~
Will I recommend?
Yes, I hope it works well on other individuals too.
Where to purchase?
You can purchase these at www.ceracoco.com. They used to cost 10,000 (approx USD 8.8) won each but now the price is lowered to 4,000 won each (approx USD 3.5). Thats why I was expecting alot from these since the prices were expensive. Now that it has been reduced, the price is not bad.
Their other products that you might want to look out are their Mild Coco Capsule Cleanser and Max Moisture Cream that contains ceramide and coconut oil.
Thank you, Ceracoco for sending these over. I enjoyed using your biocellulose masks! I hope you can come up with more exciting products in the future ^^
