Holic Aroma H-4 Cleansing Review + GIVEAWAY

Annyeong, Everyone~
Since I finished with college and unemployed, I am trying my very best to write a new blog post everyday
but.....
Some days the sunlight is not out so I couldn't photograph products :(
The sunlight was back today so I took the opportunity to photograph a couple of photos hahaha
photograph all of the things as soon as the sun is out!!!!

I think this is my first review of the brand Holic Aroma in my blog. I mentioned this brand a couple of times in my Instagram and have been using and loving their products.

Holic Aroma is soooooooooooooo generous in providing me products for review purposes. When I received a parcel from them, it came in a big box. I was surprised as soon as I opened it at the post office because they gave alot!!!!!!! They gave so much that I had to pay some custom fees. But thats okay.

They are a natural and organic Korean brand and focusing on lessening the use of harmful substances in their products.

The brand has been renewed into Urang Natural (pronounced as you-rang natural) now where they revamp the looks of their original Holic Aroma product line and reformulated some of them and also introduced new products to the brand! HOOORRAAAYYYY for new products!!

Now onto the product.

The H-4 Cleansing is a cleansing oil that contains grapefruit seed oil, apricot and jojoba oil (full ingredients list below). It suits all skin types. I first was dubious that it might be too oily for my already oily skin but I end up LOVING IT SO MUCH.

This product is sadly has been discontinued and reformulated into a new cleansing oil version, which costs about USD 27/150ml. This old version is 120ml and I have no information about its price.

The cleansing oil's MFG date was dated in December 2015. At the bottom it says "EXP 12 MONTH" which I am not sure what it meant, either it expires 12 months after the MFG date or after product is opened, but at the same time the opened jar logo stated that product will expire after 6 months.

I still choose to use the cleansing oil anyway because I hate wasting. The cleansing oil doesn't even have a change in colour or odor, basically it doesn't have any faults, it is fortunate.

Packaging

The cleansing oil is dispensed using a pump with a small hole opening.

Since the hole is small, I usually pump out up to 10 pumps haha. I feel like 10 pumps is alot so it is reduced to 7 pumps now. There is a reason why I like to pump it out alot, you will find out below.

The body is a sturdy hard glass, so you know it is fragile. Definitely not travel friendly but you can always decant it into a smaller plastic bottle.

Ingredients

The ingredients list is short and simple with only 7 ingredients.
As you can see, there is alot of natural plant oils which is sooooo good.

Tocopherol is an antioxidant

The Apricot and Jojoba oil and Tocopherol has an acne irritant level of 2, which is quite low and they are not so high in the list. Despite having 3 possible acne causing ingredients, I am happy to report that this product doesn't break me out.

For the benefits of the natural plant oils, you can Google them cause I am lazy. But you know they give you good foods for the skin.

Consistency

Consistency is runny oily, light yellow in colour and IT SMELLS SO AMAZING. Do you know the smell of a freshly opened oranges?? THATS HOW IT SMELLS LIKE. I super love the oranges smell, it is not overwhelming for me. Since that I love the smell so much, most of the time I like to massage my face a bit longer just to indulge with the smell and the smell is also why I like to pump alot of the oil haha.

If you hate the smell of oranges or citruses, we can't be friends.

As a cleansing OIL, it is predictable that it gives an oily finish~ it doesn't feel so thick.

Effectiveness

Now I am demonstrating how effective the cleansing oil is in removing makeup. On my hand I have a concealer, cushion foundation, blue eyeliner, pink and red lipsticks and eyeshadows.

Just one pump to dissolve it all~

The oil dissloves the makeup well and turned into light purplish colour. Thumbs up.

The oil mixes well with the makeup. As you can see, none of the makeup are not removed on my hand. So it does a good job in removing makeup.

On actual application, I agree that it removes face makeup well because so far I do not detect any makeup residues on my cotton pad in toner stage.

As for removing mascara, I am not sure how will it perform since I use a separate mascara remover and I don't want for heavy things like oils to get into my eye.

I have been using this cleansing oil everyday day and night even when I do not use makeup. It makes my face clean.

When washed with water, it emulsifies into white and the oily residue is gone even with just rinsing with water. Even so, I always carry on with second cleanser after using it.

I pH-tested this cleansing oil and it has pH of 5~ low pH is gewdddddd.

My Final Thoughts

It is a great cleansing oil that cleanses the face and removes makeup well. It does its job, doesn't break me out and smells amazing. I don't have any complains about it.

I would really love to use this again but sadly it has been discontinued :( I hope the new version works the same as this version.

Purple Tale Unboxing + Once Upon A Neck Cream Review

A week ago I received a lovely PR package from one of the brands that I have always been curious about, Purpletale . I discovered about brand when I first saw Ryanraroar's  (Singaporean male beauty blogger) Instagram post about it a few months back. My curiosity of the brand developed since then, I just thought that they were unique and captivating in some kind of way. I feel very grateful and lucky when Purpletale have given me the chance to try out their products. I was asked to choose 2 products that I wanted to review, I choose their Once Upon A Neck Cream - because I thought I need to take more care of my neck and Setting the Scene Essence - hoping that it can help to fade my blemishes since  it contains stellar ingredients such as ginseng, peptide complexes, adenosine and niacinamide As soon as I opened the box, not only it is lightly scented, I also didn't expect to receive more than the 2 intended products! PT wow-ed me with their gene...

Boomdeahdah Mild & Pure Cleansing Oil | Comparison Review

Hello, Everyone! Not sure if I can call this a comparison review because there is ONLY ONE (or two or three) difference between these two hahah anyway, lets get into it! Sometime in August, I received an unexpectedly generous package from Boomdeahdah , a Korean Beauty company. Their motto is " We Love The World " which I think is cute. I can't get much info about the company since there is no English translation on their website, but the motto seems to mean that they are focusing on using natural ingredients. I received a total of 6 products from them, they are too kind! In this post I am just going to talk about 2 of the products I received to review, which are their MILD and PURE cleansing oils. I've talked about their Pure Cleansing Water and Eye & Lip Makeup Remover on my Instagram, both which I really love and wanted to purchase. Boomdeahdah Mild Cleansing Oil(180ml) Price: 8,900₩ Ingredients of the Mild Cleansing Oil B...
