It is uhmmmm 9 days left to the start of second and last semester of my 2nd year of studying Computer Science before proceeding to the final year. I am so not looking forward to studying and stressing again.

WHAT IT IS

💙Alaska Glacier Water is used instead of purified water because it is rich in minerals, provides deep hydration and nutrition and helps to keep skin looking clean and healthy.

💙Serum is 40ml but it is packaged in a bottle that is sized for 100ml products

I actually tried a sample of it before sent by the company as well and I'm liking it at the first try because it was scentless, sinks into my skin fully and doesn't break me out. I told BANO about my first impression of it and they sent me the full size to test out the product longer! I also wanted to see how the whitening effect is if used in the long term. I like whitening products because I always wanted to lighten my post-acne marks.

A following/follower of mine on Instagram (@seoul.fleur) documented that her post-acne marks showed improvement in 2 weeks by using this serum, you can read her thoughts on this serum on her Instagram~ I documented mine as well, I think that comparing a product's progression/improvement with photos are clearer than just noting it inside my mind. I try to remember to take progression photos always~


LEFT CHEEK

I started using this serum diligently day and night starting on the 17th of July. I don't really see much difference what the serum does to my left cheek.


RIGHT CHEEK

On my right cheek is where I think the effect of the whitening serum shows. I started using the serum diligently day and night starting on the 17th July and a week after that (24th July) the red marks at the bottom looked lightened~ then 2 weeks later, they started to decrease in size. Overall it seems that the lightening and clearing the skin process took about 4 weeks. The new acne accompanied by the red marks too was lightened.

💙The serum is moisturizing and can contribute to hydration but using it alone as a moisturizer isn't enough.

💙Additionally I can't find the full ingredients list of the serum. I don't know the percentage of the Deoxy Arbutin being used and if there are any other whitening ingredients or if the whitening ingredients are listed low.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS

💙Based on the 'photo diary', it seems that the whitening serum is working BUT I personally think that the process is slow. Additionally, some of products I implemented into my skincare routine also helped with improving the post acne marks, so I think using the whitening serum alone to lighten spots won't be much of a help.

💙I liked the serum's consistency, it was perfect for my oily skin but for the effects...I'm more pleased by something thats worthy. For a whitening serum that costs USD 49, ONLY 40ml and works slowly (extra effective if combined with other whitening products), I personally think it isn't doing much. I actually would like to purchase the whitening serum IF only it was cheaper, about USD 10~15 or less.

💙I do not see my point of purchasing this expensive serum when there are other cheaper and effective (spot) whitening serums. I'll pass on this one.

Purple Tale Unboxing + Once Upon A Neck Cream Review

Boomdeahdah Mild & Pure Cleansing Oil | Comparison Review
