July 2017 Empties + Declutter

I didn't have the motivation to blog lately because of the unbearable heat.

But today I feel like I wanted to catch up on blogging. I even feel like posting 2 posts.

Going to quickly go through my empties and declutters.

EMPTIES

☙Freeman Mint & Lemon Clay Mask - second Freeman product that I emptied and was a meh. It stings my eyes at first. Did nothing really impactful like controlling my breakouts (its claims). Bought this from Watsons Miri, won't repurchase.

☙Batiste Original Dry Shampoo (mini) - I love dry shampoos to on my no-poo days to control hair oils. It works and smells great. This was gifted to me by my beautiful friend from Sibu. I know where to get Batiste dry shampoos in Brunei and I'll forever repurchase dry shampoos by Batiste.

☙Hot Stuff Gold Sun Cream - my holy grail sunscreen! This is the cheapest sunscreen I can get my hands on, BND 5 at Hallyu Mart Batu Bersurat. It works great; didn't make my skin oily, controls oils, no breakouts, NO CASTS and just basically works great. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out of my current sunscreens.

☙ The Face Shop The Therapy Essential Tonic Treatment - click the product's name to read my review. I would really love to get a full size of this one(soon). It helps with the dehydrated parts of my face (forehead and cheeks).

☙Etude House Pink Vital Water Toner - gift from Vanny of rosesandbeauty.com blog. This Etude toner surprises me, because I don't find most Etude products to be effective. This toner brightens my complexion and even helps with lightening redness and dark spots. I wanted to get the full size. It smells nice too and has a thicker consistency.

☙Elf Blending Wedges - bought from a local onlineshop. The sizes are small to my liking. I won't repurchase.

☙Ezy Makeup Remover Cleansing Wipes - HG cleansing wipes!!! It was cheap as well (3 pcs for BND 1.50), the wipes are drenched and removed my makeup (including waterproof eyeliner and mascara) effectively. Will forever repurchase. and p/s the Daiso cleansing wipes work as great too.

☙Avon Far Away Roll Perfume - been using this since 2012??? And I finally emptied it! Roll on perfumes take forever to finish. Smells great but didn't really hold on long, I would RP since it smells nice but I have quite a number of perfumes to use up.

☙Liu & Lei Diana Gen Prestige Cream Gold Caviar - click link to read my review. I actually have been keeping this empty for two months and now I don't see the point of keeping the packaging because I do not have much storage/display space. Ridiculously priced shit. I think the ingredients are not as high quality. It uses color coded gold/gold coloring instead of actual gold (I think). If it uses actual gold then it will indicate the amount of gold (measured in u). Well, this is what I think.

☙Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser - meh. I used a different cleanser now (Hada Labo Sensitive cleanser with low pH) and it works wayyyy better. Won't be using this ever again.

☙Cute Good Luck Cat Hand Cream - giveaway prize from Ryan of ryanraroar.com blog. This is one cute hand cream, Ryan got it from his Hong Kong trip. It may be not but it is not hydrating enough for my dry abused hands. I need to look for hand creams that provide deep hydration.

☙Holika Holika Aloe 92% Shower Gel - giveaway prize from Bomibox. This has a texture exactly like of an aloe vera gel instead of liquidy like typical shower gels. It has aloe smell and doesn't produce much bubbles. I don't really enjoy using shower gels with little bubbles haha it is a good shower gel though, but I'd like something else.

DECLUTTERS

☙Cosrx Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion - what does this even do? Won't be using this again. I have the Tosowoong Sparkling Trouble Lotion as a replacement, I hope it will perform better.

☙I don't remember that brand this is (received from Amabie to provide my honest review. I can't check back at the website too because it is under maintenance) but this is a 100% Physical Sunscreen, by means it will give you a major cast and clogging. I gave it over to my body but I think it made my skin to itch. Won't be using this again.

☙Vitress Hair Polish - basically a hair moisturizer to use on dry/damp hair. This doesn't make my hair to look healthy nor moisturized, my hair still looks the same. Won't be using this again.

☙The Face Shop Nail Polish - shitty brush so application is shitty too. I think Innisfree polishes and Etude may be better.

☙Holic Aroma/Urang Natural Multi Balm - provided by the brand to review. This is a home remedy kind of balm, suitable for moisturizing super dry skin or use to soothe mosquito bites. It contains tamanu and calendula oils. I had to declutter it because it has expired and the smell turned bad. I would love to get this again to treat my dry feet and insect bites, it works amazingly for both.

☙Let Her Makeover My Cushion - sent by the brand to review. Okay, they didn't tell me that they're sending me a cushion to review or at least ask me what shade of cushion/foundation I am wearing because I received this cushion in light beige colour. it is totally not my shade, I can't use it at all. I'll have a ghostly white appearance, I can't look like this when I'm testing out the cushion and wearing it outside. Sad that I had to dispose this.

☙Innisfree Skinny Microcara Brown - bought on sale from BBcosmetic. Amazing mascara from Innisfree! Stays on long, doesn't smudge or wear out badly at the end of the day. It is great for natural looks. If you want a dramatic looking eyes, this isn't the one. I like natural makeup anyway. I'd love to purchase the Black version. It costs USD 9 at BBcosmetic, I would only buy when it is on sale (50% off when I bought it).

☙Avon Romantic Peony Lipstick - click the link to see swatches of the lipstick and diary of my Kuching trip. The color is beautiful but the quality feels crusty somehow...just had to declutter. Can't keep a bad lipstick.

☙Etude House Pink Vital Water Emulsion - another gift from Vanny of rosesandbeauty.com blog. The emulsion was super hard to take out!!! Tilting it and shaking it won't help! :(

Last declutter...

☙TIAM Signature C-Source - this works great for lightening my dark spots and acne scars BUT it caused clogged pores :( clogged pores are one of my biggest enemies, they take some time (MONTHS) to go away. When I first used C20, I didn't realise that it gave me clogged pores. I know about skincare better now. . .
