Consistency

💚 Cloud-ish to clear light-gel texture
💚 Easy to spread
💚 Has somekind of light pleasant centella-ish scent
💚 Doesn't leave sticky, oily or heavy feeling
💚 Absorbs well into my skin (my skin type is oily and acne prone)
💚 Moisturizes my skin well and leaves a slight sheen/glowy finish



 Performance

 Above is a photo set of the cream applied on a small pimple of mine and the effect's progression for a 6-day period.

 💚My pimple started to flatten on the 3rd day.
💚On the 4th and 5th day the pimple seems to be dried out.
💚The pimple has completely disappeared on the 6th day!!! Just left with its dark spot to be lightened - but this is not the promised effect of the cream so it's okay.
💚I do not experience any breakout or irritation while using this cream.



 Verdict

 The above photo is my spot after a week of applying the Centel Get Back Cream.

 💚I must say it works, however the result differs on small spots vs big spots (eg. hormonal acne). I do still see positive progression on my hormonal acne even though it is slow.

 💚I love the cream's texture, even though it says it is a CREAM, the texture feels more like a lightweight gel that absorbs fine without causing any heaviness or oiliness. However, the hydration strength depends on the hydration layer I put on my face prior to reaching this cream step (serums, essences etc). So I just need to sufficiently hydrate my skin before sealing it in with this cream as this tend to be the last moisturizing step in my skincare routine.

Second The Face Shop Haul + Mini Review

The Haul Finally, I am able to post about my second The Face Shop Haul in this blog! This post must have been overdue because I bought the items on 30th October 2015. But whatever, let me show you what I've gotten! I have gotten myself a total of 6 items. The other two are free. The freebies are the birthday gifts which consist of an aloe face mask and urgh.....verbena samples again (you know I hate the scent alot as mentioned on THIS post.
