Klairs Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF40/PA++ Review
Disclaimer: Sunscreen was sent to me by Wishtrend because I was one of the lucky 20 winners that get to review their new product. I am happy that I get to try out my first Klairs product! Photos are my own and some information are taken from the product itself, its box and on Wishtrend's website.

What it is
The Klairs Mid-day Blue Sun Lotion is an everyday sunscreen that provides UVA, UVB and heat protection, without leaving an unwanted white cast. Fortified with guaiazulene, a natural Chamomile extract commonly used in soothing ointments, the resulting soft blue color helps to even out skin tone. It also has a light, moisturizing application because of its innovative formula that combines the benefits of a physical and chemical sunscreen.

Application
Simply squeeze the tube to dispense product.
Texture
Lotiony consistency that is smooth to spread, has some kind of sunscreen + herbal scent, I am fine with the scent but some might not be fond of it. I like the ice blue colour, it is mostly white with a hint of light blue and don't worry, your face won't be turning blue.
Formula: Physical + Chemical
It spreads easily~ Before I received my sunscreen, I read from some reviewers that the sunscreen leaves a white cast, however it is not the case on me. It is a physical and a chemical suncreen in one, though it is physical, it doesn't leave strong white residue on me probably because my skin colour (natural beige) suits with it, if you have a deeper skin tone that it might leave a strong white cast, the sunscree absorbs fairly well into my skin.
Finish
It is shine-free indeed, it's not greasy, non-sticky, light-weight, it doesn't even make my face oilier after a couple of hours considering that I have an oily skin and it is non-drying. It doesn't reside on my pores nor causes clogged pores and breakouts. My problematic skin is pleased. It doesn't even cake up when I applied cushion foundation above.
Tone Correcting
It evens out my skin tone, the whitening looks natural and not obvious. Theres no coverage provided, not that it is its claims.
Effectiveness in Heat Protection
I haven't experienced any sunburns nor heat irritation so far so it is good.
My Final Thoughts
I love this sunscreen! It is perfect on me, don't think I have any complains about it. Comparing with sunscreens with SPF 50, the Klair's sunscreen SPF level may not be enough for areas that are too hot but you can always reapply after every 2 hours for maximum protection. I would purchase if on sale and recommending it to others!
Helpful tips
♡ Apply with your hands for a hydrating finish and everyday, long-lasting wear.
♡ Apply with a makeup sponge/puff to increase its tone-correcting qualities. This also makes the sunscreen the perfect makeup base.
♡ Reapply every 2-3 hours for maximum UVA/UVB/heat protection.
