Hello, everyone~
It's 10:30PM on a Sunday night as I'm typing this. Hope everyone had a good SunDay!
The weekend came to an end. Boring, not looking forward for the weekdays, typical.
Also, I discovered a gem today. I've been listening to Stuck On U by Khalid on repeat.💖
Alive Lab Sili Puff Review
The craze of SILICONE puffs started last year, didn't it? and I've only gotten to try it recently in 2018. (Yes, I'm the type of person who is lagging behind in trying the trendy things).
Anyway I've been curious about these silicone puffs as a makeup applicator (primer, concealer, foundation etc) so I picked this up to review from StyleKorean.
Price: USD 6.54
It is cute that it comes in a mini pouch.

What sets the sili-puff apart from other puffs?
1. Unlike other sponge puffs, this product doesn't absorb the foundation thereby allowing you to use the item for a long time!
2. There is no wear and tear due to frequent washing
3. The components are safe enough to be used as part of medical equipment and baby toys

Finn's Thoughts
- Cons -
🔵While I was trying out this silipuff, I also used a new bbcream that I've never tried before. I thought it was the bbcream that made my makeup to look dissatisfying. The makeup looked unblended.
🔵After trying out the bbcream with a cushion puff, my makeup looked good and blended one with my skin! So it wasn't the bbcream that was at fault for my bad makeup look haha.
🔵The puff also produces streaks and fallouts (like my bbcream is rolled into a booger? lol).
🔵The size of the silipuff isn't so small but maybe I'm not used to holding it, it is kind of awkward using it as makeup applicator.
🔵I also find that took me some time to work on my bbcream and concealer to look good/blended. Applying makeup with cushion puff is quicker for me.
+ Pros +
🔵ONE thing I like about the silipuff is that it is EASY to clean! After using I just dispense soap onto the puff and clean it away. There's no time needed for it to dry too!
🔵Also I think that the silicone will last quite longer than puffs.
🔵Anyway the silipuff doesn't smell of anything, if this concerns you.
🔵It is really a travel friendly+multi-purpose item (sadly it doesn't work it for me).
Finn's Final Thoughts
🔵Now that I've finally tried a SILICONE puff/sponge, I have to say that I don't really favor using this option to apply my makeup. I like my cushion puffs and makeup sponges better.
🔵I read that you can also apply skincare with a silicone puff, but this too, I like using my hands better.
🔵I'm definitely NOT interested in using a silicone puff again haha.
