In this post, I am going to talk about a complimentary hairspa therapy that I received from Trichocare Hairspa Brunei. So let's get started!
TRICHOCARE HAIRSPA BRUNEI is a NATURAL HERBAL Scalp and Hair Care Specialist based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah & Brunei!
It's an anti-hairloss, anti dandruff & hair growth Hairspa which includes scalp analysis, herbal hair treatment, head massage and hair wash.
I booked my appointment at 2pm on Tuesday, 14th May 2019 and the hairspa session lasted for about 1hr 30minutes. This is my first experience with them. I was greeted by their banners when I reached their place! They have a pleasant grass wall too haha.

It's an anti-hairloss, anti dandruff & hair growth Hairspa which includes scalp analysis, herbal hair treatment, head massage and hair wash.
I booked my appointment at 2pm on Tuesday, 14th May 2019 and the hairspa session lasted for about 1hr 30minutes. This is my first experience with them. I was greeted by their banners when I reached their place! They have a pleasant grass wall too haha.
Scalp Analysis
The first stage of the therapy session is analyzing my scalp to see what kind of scalp type I have. A device is used (pictured above) and analysed the crown and also the back of my scalp. Turns out I have a SENSITIVE SCALP but with HEALTHY hair follicles (2-3 strands).
The right image on the pc is my sensitive scalp, it is sensitive because of the pinkish tones while the right image is an example image of a healthy scalp. This therapy session aims to achieve a healthy scalp.
I've been told that I've been only shampoo-ing my hair to clean my hair and not care for the scalp or cleanse the scalp properly. It is advisable to clean the scalp with fingertips than fingernails since the nails are quite harsh.

Herbal Hair Treatment, Head Massage & Hair Wash
After analyzing my scalp, the next step is the herbal hair treatment which includes hair shampoo and hair mask. The hair wash felt thorough with the head massage and all. They are using their own shampoo and their products are from Hong Kong.
As for the hair mask, I love its minty smell and mint gives a refreshing feeling to my scalp! It also has somekind of matcha smell to me.
The final step of the hair treatment is hair steaming, where the head helps to promote blood flow circulation to promote healthy hair growth and heal damaged hair (source).

After Trichocare Hairspa Therapy Session

My hair looks kinda undernourished and not adequately moisturized with some dandruff issues.
After
My hair feels soft, looks healthier and feels refreshed on the scalp! My hair also smells good (herbally scent).
After undergoing the hairspa therapy session, I started to massage my scalp with fingertips during my shampoo days, hence taking a bit longer to shampoo. I want a maintain a healthy scalp and healthy hair!
Beautiful and healthy hair is important for me to give me a boost of confidence.
