[REVIEW] Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palette

Hi y'all! I finally have the energy to write a post, I was struggling with sickness yesterday which was so terrible. I am glad that I am feeling better today.

Catrice Cosmetics Absolute Rose Eyeshadow Palette

I got this at Paloma, The Mall for BND7.90. This is my first purchase of the European brand, Catrice Cosmetics.
Frankly, I purchased this right before the exams where I should be doing some last-minute revision instead. But oh well, I like to loosen up the tension before actually entering the exam hall. I bought it because the colors look soooo pretty and I like rosy tones at the moment. It comes with a variety of 6 beautiful colors, sponge eyeshadow applicator at one end and a blending brush at the other end. Other shades available from the same line are the Nude and Smokey palette. I actually wanted to get my hands on the Nude and Smokey but.....I restrained myself and should keep in mind that I need to save up.

Color description;
Since the shades doesn't have any names, I will just label them as numbers, in-relating to their order in the palette itself.
1 - nude color that suits as a base
2 - nude pink that suits as a base too. This color appears more intense than the first color
3 - light shimmery brown
4 - darker brown than no.3 and shimmery too
5 - dark lilac/ashy purple somekind of color
6 - chocolate with red shimmers
All of the colors have shimmers but colors 1, 2 and 5 have a few shimmery effect compared to others.

Texture: All shadows are powdery, but gives a good color pay off (refer swatches at the bottom) and lasts long especially for the darker colors. I remembered I swatched the shadows on my hand and left it overnight because I am lazy to wash (not in a disgusting way), I just want to experiment and without the use of primer too, and it stays! though it fades a bit.

The applicators: they are soft, grabbed the shadows easily, easy and okay to use. The blending brush blends the color well too.
Back packaging of the product is really detailed and excellent in providing instructions on how to actually use the plaette! The product lasts 12 months after opening and weighs 6g.
Swatches on my fingers above are colors 1, 2, 3.

Swatches for shadows 4, 5, 6. No.5 looks so different in this photo, probably due to lighting.
Swatches 1 to 6 from left to right. No. 4 appears somekind of pinkish when it is actually shimmery light brown in real life. No.6 appears shimmery with tiny red glitters on my fingers but the glitters are rarely seen when I swiped it on my hand. Anyway, the colors are pigmented, medium-ly pigmented in my opinion, but still pigmented. Haha.

My final thoughts; since the colors are light, soft and not crazy (eg. blue or green eyeshadows), people who likes to rock soft eyes will definitely like this palette, it gives out a good color pay off too. The product is cheap (BND7.90) considered that it comes with 6 eyeshadows, a blending brush and sponge eyeshadow applicator, it is light to carry around and suitable for travel. I personally think that the product is an okay palette to experiment with, especially for beginners like me.

Will I repurchase?
Nah, I'd like to experiment with a different palette.

My overall ratings;

Have anyone of you tried out this product before? Lemme know in the comment section below!

Simple Skincare Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Review | Lookfantastic Mini Review

Annyeong, Everyone~ I ordered this Simple Skincare Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Remover off Lookfantastic because I was looking for a replacement to my favourite point makeup remover which is the Boomdeahdah Lip & Eye Remover. It was my first time buying something from Lookfantastic and I think their service is quite good. It is a UK-based online store that ships worldwide for FREE. I live for free shipping sites!!!! I remembered that I ordered sometime in November 2016 and my order got shipped out ON THE SAME DAY . I was amazed at their fast shipping service. The free shipping didn't come with a tracking number but thats alright. It arrived a month to Brunei and my small item was packed in a big box. They also included a voucher to use within the UK but unfortunately I had to throw it out since I'm not living in the UK. Overall I'm happy shopping with Lookfantastic and would definitely buy from them again. My item was received in a good condition too, no leakage
