Nature Republic Botanical Vanilla Stick Concealer in 21 Vanilla Nude Review
Again, I purchased this at the official Nature Republic store at Spring Mall, Kuching. I did a review on a Nature Republic product yesterday, you can read about it HERE. I bought both of the products at the same time. I forgot the pricing for this one too *I am an oldie*. I've been eyeing for this stick concealer by Nature Republic before for quite sometime because I heard good reviews about it, and I have yet to find the most perfect concealer ever. Australian-Korean Youtuber MeejMuse stated that this product is one of her fav concealers! Guess what, I love it too!
The stick concealer that I've gotten expires in May 2017. I am not sure about the longevity of the product after opening since the packaging looks simple and vague. Instruction, description and ingredients of the product are void too. But you can just Google the name of the product and there will be information.
I got mine in shade 21 - Vanilla Nude. Vanilla Nude comes out as Light Beige. The other available shade is Vanilla Natural, which is darker than Vanilla Nude. Vanilla Natural come out as Natural Beige.
The stick concealer itself is sealed with a cap.

You simply twist the body of the product to reveal the stick concealer. The length of the concealer is approximately 3cm.

I am not sure whether I have mentioned this before but I prefer concealer that is one shade lighter than my actual skin tone. That way, it covers my blemishes, redness and eye bags well. I use a natural beige shade bb cream/foundation and light beige colored concealers. The contrasting color matches on me.
The concealer is easy to blend. It kind of blended well on my hand.
The texture is a bit creamy so that makes it easy to blend. It glides on easily too on the skin. However, since the concealer is creamy, I feel that it won't last for long if you use it frequently. Seriously it feels like it is going to be finished too soon.

Now I am going to show you how I operate the concealer on my face.
Look at this fresh faced alien with only bb cream. Take note that the redness on my cheek is still visible after applying bb cream.
I literally dab the concealer on my under eyes, blemishes, pimple scars, red areas, red spots, bridge of my nose for highlighting, pigments and basically any form of imperfection.
Blended! I look flawless now hohohoh.
The concealer covers blemishes, acne scars and redness well and a bit at the eyebag area (I don't have heavy eyebags at the moment though). However, the concealer does not cover red bumps and pigments entirely. It covers well on flat imperfections like redness. It surprised me that it covers my deeply scarred acne scar! The finish come out as matte. I still think that it is a great concealer since it covers up pretty well. If you have a minimal imperfection, I am sure that you will like this concealer!

I am not so sure of the longevity of the concealer, how long it will stay on but the concealer is compact and easy to bring, so you can easily put it in your bag and touch up anytime! The tip to use the concealer is to moisturize your face beforehand. That way you can easily blend the concealer. I personally think that the concealer suits all skin types except for dry skin. For dry skin, I recommend using liquid type concealers! so that the makeup won't dry out too soon and provides moisture to the face. And also, you might also need a moisturizing type of bb cream/foundation because the concealer does not provide much hydration.
The concealer might get cakey, but if you moisturize your face well, use a primer and using the right foundation, nothing can go wrong with it.
