[REVIEW] RiRe VVVic Lip Scrub

Hello, beautiful human beings! How's everyone's skin condition so far? I am currently having pre-hormonal breakouts since my shark week is around the corner. My face gets oilier at times like this and I hate it. I also avoid to sheetmask (unless using a sheetmask thats for troubled skin, calming, AC control) because I don't want to disturb the breakouts and possibly worsen it. So yeah, basically having a skin MTBD (Mental Breakdown) right now, haha. Hope it will clear up as soon as possible!

RiRe VVVic Lip Scrub Review

I bought this somewhere around April from my previous Roseroseshop HAUL where you guys can read about it HERE. I am a girl that fancies cleaning her lips with a lip scrub every morning. My lips produce alot of discussing dead skin every morning and I like to scrap them off using a lip scrub. I've been getting lots of dead skin when I wake up since I started using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask (review here). that lip mask is really effective in moisturizing and cleaning the lips at the same time. I know it is not ideal to scrub every morning but my lips aren't that sensitive now so it is okay. I also like to be prepared to prep my lips in case if I have surprise plans to happen during the day, it helps with my lipstick application as well.

On the packaging, "Rough due to the external environment moist lips a moisturizing scrub"......................the mistranslation though.

The lip scrub comes in a squeezable 10ml tube. its MFG date was dated in 31st Dec 2015.

Ingredients list: retrieved from its box.

Info taken from roseroseshop:

[Description]

Fix make-up cleanly and neatly Lip remover that helps
fix your lip make-up by RiRe lip manicure anytime and
anywhere.

[How to use]

Apply lip manicure remover a you want
Massage it for 20 seconds
Rinse through water after rubbing.

Consistency:

Has a white creamy texture that is not runny. It has a scent that I couldn't identify, its not perfumey, floral-ish nor fruity, I just don't know how to describe it, haha. But it is not that unpleasant.

Believe me or not, this lip scrub contains ZERO granules at all!!!! Unlike any other lip scrubs.

I take a pea-sized amount and rub it on my disgusting morning lips. It will leave a funny white residue on the lips and it will make you look pale AF since the lip scrub is mixed with the dead skin. Try not to accidentally taste the lip scrub because I think it tastes disgusting, haha.

Results:

Oh boy, this lip scrub that contains zero granules at all REALLY does scrap off the dead skin effectively!!! I was amazed at first. Lips really felt clean, dead skin-free and smooth. Lipstick application just made easier.

I thought that it would be great for flaky dry lips to use this since lip scrubs that contains granules may be harsh for them and potentially causing bleeding. This is one gentle lip scrub for y'all.

Also, since it contains no granules, theres no plumping effect to it. This info for some other people's preference. And yeah I do prefer lip scrubs with granules too since I like it when my lips are a bit plumped.

Pros +
- Gentle
- Effective
- Left lips clean and smooth
- Affordable

Cons -
- No plumping effect to those who likes this effect
- Other than that, none!

My final thoughts:

I like how excellent it is. But as I mentioned above, I prefer lip scrubs that are a bit abrasive and make my lips a bit plumped. This is not a bad product, I am just excited get to experience this kind of lip scrub and eventhough I have a preference, I will look for this lip scrub when my lips become flaky dry (which is impossible, unless I live in a cold country haha).

Will I purchase?
Maybe yes when my lips yearn for it.

Will I recommend?
ofcourse! I think it is suitable to all lip types, however I am not responsible if you experience negative effect from it.

Where to purchase?
USD 2.22 at Roseroseshop (exclude shipping) - direct product link HERE

Purple Tale Unboxing + Once Upon A Neck Cream Review

A week ago I received a lovely PR package from one of the brands that I have always been curious about, Purpletale . I discovered about brand when I first saw Ryanraroar's  (Singaporean male beauty blogger) Instagram post about it a few months back. My curiosity of the brand developed since then, I just thought that they were unique and captivating in some kind of way. I feel very grateful and lucky when Purpletale have given me the chance to try out their products. I was asked to choose 2 products that I wanted to review, I choose their Once Upon A Neck Cream - because I thought I need to take more care of my neck and Setting the Scene Essence - hoping that it can help to fade my blemishes since  it contains stellar ingredients such as ginseng, peptide complexes, adenosine and niacinamide As soon as I opened the box, not only it is lightly scented, I also didn't expect to receive more than the 2 intended products! PT wow-ed me with their gene...

Boomdeahdah Mild & Pure Cleansing Oil | Comparison Review

Hello, Everyone! Not sure if I can call this a comparison review because there is ONLY ONE (or two or three) difference between these two hahah anyway, lets get into it! Sometime in August, I received an unexpectedly generous package from Boomdeahdah , a Korean Beauty company. Their motto is " We Love The World " which I think is cute. I can't get much info about the company since there is no English translation on their website, but the motto seems to mean that they are focusing on using natural ingredients. I received a total of 6 products from them, they are too kind! In this post I am just going to talk about 2 of the products I received to review, which are their MILD and PURE cleansing oils. I've talked about their Pure Cleansing Water and Eye & Lip Makeup Remover on my Instagram, both which I really love and wanted to purchase. Boomdeahdah Mild Cleansing Oil(180ml) Price: 8,900₩ Ingredients of the Mild Cleansing Oil B...
