[REVIEW] Eyelab Cosmetics Wish 100 Ampoules

Eyelab Cosmetics is a company specializing in the research and development of beauty science conducted by cosmetic researchers from renowned Korean brands and the best beauty creators of each field.

Eyelab Cosmetics were so kind to send me all of their products 3 months ago, I didn't expect to receive all seven of their Wish 100 Ampoules, surprised even when I read an email from them regarding the matter. I additionally received their Basic Wish Set (3 ampoules) which I did a giveaway on it after my exams on June and M Cleansing Mud and Z Cleansing Mud by Cospatch, a brand under Eyelab Cosmetics development.

Here are the 7 ampoules that I received~ from left to right;
Super-Tea Tree, Vita-Tox, Micro-Hyaluronate, Super Peel, Collagen, Camellia Ferment Oil and Mada-Centella. Love how colourful they are!

I've been trying out the ampoules since then, I've emptied 5 so far, and currently using Super Peel and Camellia Ferment Oil. It is safe to say out my thoughts on the ampoules now.

*Didn't get to include super tea tree in the line up above because I accidentally threw it away in advance -________-

All ampoules hold an amount of 15ml, some have different consistencies which I will tell more below. 15ml can lasts me 2 weeks if used daily day and night. Some days I skipped using it because I really liked it and don't want to empty it just yet haha. They are gentle enough to be used daily twice, it can be layered on with other ampoules and products --- which I did and can be mixed with your foundation as well to give some hydration.

The ampoules have a light glass body that can be fragile. It is travel friendly due to its small size. A pipette is provided to dispose the ampoules.

I can hardly find full English descriptions of the ampoules at Eyelab Cosmetics' official website. I did ask Eyelab's Instagram manager about the ingredients and got a reply with only the main ingredients of each ampoule. Maybe one day when I am already fluent in Korean language, I can translate products description and ingredients in Korean easily haha.

Eyelab Cosmetics Super Tea Tree Wish 100 Ampoule Review

The tea tree one is the first one I used because I thought that it can help with healing my pimples. Mainly contains Tea Tree Extract and Dimethyl Sulfone - enhance collagen bundles and restore the foundation for healthy skin (source: Ingredients to Die For).

Consistency: clear, watery, non-scented, absorb fully into the skin immediately, dries matte, left skin feeling soft and smooth like a baby's --- which I don't experience in other ampoules!

Results: due to the small amount and perfect ability for my troubled skin, I only applied the tea tree on targeted areas, where the pimples are sited. It really did help to reduce the size of the pimples slowly and help to control formation of pimples. The tea tree is not strong enough to heal hormonal acne.

Eyelab Cosmetics Micro-Hyaluronate 100 Wish Ampoule

The Micro-Hyaluronate's purpose is to provide moisturization and hydration~ main ingredient is Sodium Hyaluronate - to penetrate skin and hold onto water (source: SkinStore).

Consistency: thicker than Tea Tree, not really runny just like typical ampoule texture. non-scented, fully absorbed into skin after a couple of minutes.

Results: left skin moisturized, hydrated, plumped, gives skin glowing effect. I used this during the day (and night) and it doesn't make my face oilier.

Eyelab Cosmetics Vita-Tox Wish 100 Ampoule

From its name, I believed that it gives brightening effects~ Main ingredients are Ascorbyl Glucoside, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Niacinamide and Adenosine.

Ascorbyl Glucoside - a vitamin derivative, produced biologically by the reaction between glucose and vitamin C (source: bulkactives).

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 - also known as Argireline, is a peptide compound that is used in skin care to reduce the appearance of wrinkles brought on by repeated facial expressions (source: thedermreview).

Niacinamide - whitening, anti-aging, reduce redness also improve skin’s elasticity, dramatically enhance its barrier function, help erase discolorations, and revive skin’s healthy tone and texture (source: paulaschoice).

Adenosine - a good anti-inflammatory ingredient. Adenosine is present in our cells and functions as a cell-communicating ingredient because it is a source of energy that supports healthy cellular activity (source: paulaschoice).

Consistency: I forgot(actually lazy) to picture the vita-tox's consistency til I ran out of it, booo Finn. The consistency is similar to tea tree's, watery, lightweight, clear, non-scented, absorb fully into the skin.

Results: This one is special for my troubled skin too so I only applied on targeted areas. It did help with brightening my blemishes. I am happy while using this one.

Eyelab Cosmetics Mada-Cantella Wish 100 Ampoule

I think this was my first Cantella-based product (or no, I just didn't focus on the ingredients list before). its main ingredient is Centella Asiatica Extract, assuming that it claims to prevent aging and lighten acne scars.

Consistency: watery, light yellow colour, non-scented, absorbs fully into skin.

Results: moisturizing, skin looks refined, not much difference on healing post-acne scars.

Eyelab Cosmetics Collagen Wish 100 Ampoule

From its name, of course it is expected to give some skin elastic effects. Main ingredient is Hydrolyzed Collagen.

Consistency: I thought the consistency was tricky at first (like Cosrx's snail mucin), but anyway its not so watery, non-scented.

Results: moisturizing, hydrating, gives glowy effect. I don't notice any difference in my skin's elasticity (I'm 20).

Eyelab Cosmetics Camellia Ferment Oil Wish 100 Ampoule

This is the only oil-based ampoule from the line. main ingredient is Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, this one is targeted to heal damaged skin by sun and provide skin conditioning~

Consistency: thickest consistency among all. It looks like a watery texture at first due to its clear colour but when massaged, it becomes oily~ the oiliness wasn't too heavy, instead it is thin, has light oily scent.

Results: doesn't really penetrate fully into skin but it is the most moisturizing and hydrating one, gives skin that glossy finish~ I only use this at night as it will be heavy for day use, I woke up to nice bright complexion everytime, it doesn't make my skin oilier in the morning.

Eyelab Cosmetics Super Peel 100 Wish Ampoule

A special peeling one, it helps to remove dead skin. Main ingredients are Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Fruit Extract, Lycium Chinense (Goji) Fruit Extract, Momordica Grosvenori (Luo Han Guo) Fruit Extract, Garcinia Mangostana (Purple Mangosteen) peel Extract and Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seaberry) Kernel Extract.

Ingredients list of the super peel is unique as I never heard about Luo Han Guo and Seaberry before. I like it when I discover rare and new ingredients.

Consistency: watery, lightweight, clear, non-scented, absobs fully into skin, dries matte.

Results: I've only used this a few days but I am liking it so far, I feel that it is effective on me in terms of vanishing pimples. It has peeling properties but it feels gentle on me and not drying.

My final thoughts
I enjoyed each and every of the ampoules. All are gentle to me, non-sticky and doesn't give me breakouts. If I were to choose my favorite.....it is actually hard to choose one but as for now I pick the Super Peel as my number one. No least favorites.

Will I recommend?
Yes but YMMV. I hope these to work well on other individuals too just like what it does to me.

Will I purchase?
Yes to all except the mada-centella one.

Where to purchase?
I think you can make purchases directly from Eyelab's official website, however I can't find English translation of the site so its hard to navigate >< but to make it easier, you can ask a Korean-based personal shopper to order the ampoules and ship them to your place.

They are priced at ₩ 12,500(approx USD 11) each per 15ml. Price of the ampoule may be a bit pricey for the small amount but I think they are good products.

For more information, do check them out at www.eyelabcosmetics.com, their products are all-natural and toxic-free - save for the skin! Check them out on Instagram too at @wishgenie

Thank you so much Eyelab Cosmetics/Wishgenie for giving me the opportunity to try out the ampoules. I've had pleasant experiences with them all ^^

Second The Face Shop Haul + Mini Review

The Haul Finally, I am able to post about my second The Face Shop Haul in this blog! This post must have been overdue because I bought the items on 30th October 2015.
