[REVIEW] Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Just wanted to let my readers know that my skin is currently purging, Aritaum's Bamboo Charcoal Mud Pack's fault(read about the story on my Instagram - link) ㅠㅠ The product that I am going to review happened before the purging, I used the Innisfree pore clay mask a few weeks before using the Aritaum, so my skin looked happy at that time.

After washing your face, gently apply toner on your face to even out your skin texture. Then, apply the mask over your entire face, avoiding your eye and lip areas. Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water after 10 minutes."

Texture: has a thick cream texture that is not hard to spread.

Scent: no scent.

During application

I applied the mask on my whole face, it dried into a darker grey colour within 10 minutes~ my face does feel tightened but not too much. No irritation during application but it can get itchy as it dries. I did feel a bit of cooling sensation too. No great amount of sebum was detected. It was easy to wash off, I still felt a bit of cooling sensation after wash off.

Results

My pores doesn't look tightened but I remembered my face being clean and sebum-free. I do not notice any difference in it toning my skin tone, but probably after a couple of uses. No breakouts the next day. I'd say that I am pleased with this product since it doesn't give me break outs and leaves my skin feeling clean, though it doesn't do much on tightening the pores. I think that the cooling sensation is perfect for those who are living in a hot temperate country like me. I have an unopened 15ml tub of this one which I've gotten from their Best Loved Collection, I'll be using that up and conclude about my experience with this product in a separate post.

Tip
I saw a comment somewhere that a person is using this clay mask as an overnight treatment for spots. I have an acne prone skin and I am curious to see how it will work! I will be trying that out tonight and share about the results on my Instagram.

Yes, unless if your skin is sensitive to dryness or the ingredients.
