[REVIEW] Isoi Bulgarisan Rose Blemish Care Serum Plus, Pore Tightening Fresh Gel Cream & Lip Treatment Balm

I received a PR package from Isoi Korea sometime around April 2016 and they are so generous with their gifts to me ㅠㅠ

The PR package consists of their Blemish Care Serum Plus, Pore Tightening Fresh Gel Cream and Lip Treatment Balm, all from their Bulgarian Rose line. I additionally received their Blemish Care Mask (posted a review of it on my IG. will link below), 2 bottle samples, some packet samples and a booklet about their product stories. Isoi Korea is an all natural beauty brand, since this post will feature 3 of their Bulgarian Rose skincare items, lemme show you guys some information regarding the line and Isoi itself.

It is my first time experimenting with Isoi products as I have only discovered them this year. I was so happy to receive this blemish care serum plus because it is the most best selling Isoi product, I even saw the before and after photo reviews and it amazed me how the person's blemishes disappeared effectively. Isoi even notified me that I am their first Bruneian user, I feel honored!

DESCRIPTION

Improves uneven skin tone, blemishes and pigmentation

The natural vitamins from Bulgarian Rose Oil and arbutin are used as whitening agents and clear up red skin tone. These natural vitamins also fill the sunken areas with moisture

HOW TO USE

After using a tonic, apply 1-2 pumps evenly to the skin and gently pat onto face until absorbed.

Packaging:

Product comes in a sturdy hard glass packaging with a plastic cap and a pump dispenser. I love how the serum looks. Its body is in light purple color, holds 15 ml of the product and its longevity is 6 months.

Consistency:

I have no problem with the pump dispenser, I can even control the amount that I want to dispose. I usually disposed one pump, two pumps when I think that I needed more. It has a clear gel consistency, not runny and has a pleasant Bulgarian Rose Oil scent. The scent is not overpowering.

Results:

The serum dries matte, gives me a healthy glow and absorbed well into my skin. I applied the serum day and night so that the effect comes faster. It is moisturizing and I did feel that it does fade the blemishes, but the process is long (about 2 weeks), however, I do not feel that it vanishes my blemishes completely, I still can see traces of it. I need a stronger product to make it completely vanished. I don't see any results in it improving my skin tone, whitening effects and improving pigmentation.

No, I need a stronger anti-blemish care.

Yes! Who knows that the effect might be excellent for you. I think it suits all skin types, unless if you are allergic to Bulgarian Rose Oil :(

Isoi Pore Tightening Fresh Gel Cream

Good Bye Blotting Oil Paper!

I super love it when tub products come with a spatula! Seriously a bonus for this one. The packaging is in sturdy glass bottle, with a mirror-effect twist cap, has a light green body, holds 30 ml of the cream and its longevity is 6 months.

It comes with a 'seal' as well, I can throw away the seal but I preferred to keep it so that the gel cream won't spill.

Consistency

Has a clear gel consistency that immediately turned runny as soon as I put it on my hands. The Bulgarian Rose scent of this one was overpowering at first, my cousin that is a few centimeters away can smell the product, the scent can even fill up a small room. I was loving the scent at first, but after using it for quite some time, the beautiful scent suddenly smelt like as if it is being heated. Since I commute and tend to leave my cosmetics in the car during school time (cries, I actually do not like this), some of my cosmetics got heated by the sun.

Results

The cream dries matte, absorbed well into my skin and moisturizing. I made my skin softer as well, especially when I applied it overnight, my skin felt softer in the morning. My skin actually did not feel 'fresh' after applying it but I think that it made my skin less oily. Though it says it is a tightening cream, my skin did not feel any tightening effect, nor my pores are tightened too. Overall I think the product is just a good moisturizer for me.

Will I purchase?

No, I have a favorite fresh gel product that really made my skin feel fresh.

Will I recommend?

Yes, it is a good light moisturizer type, I have an oily skin so the moisturizing capabilities is enough for me. Maybe the pore tightening will work better on your skin, if you are looking for a pore tightening product without experiencing the tightening feeling, then try this out!

Isoi Lip Treatment Balm Review

Leave your lips soft and supple! Brighten your lip tone with Bulgarian Rose Oil!

Isoi's Bulgarian Rose line has a couple of makeup items too, this lip balm being one of them. The packaging is simple, just a lip balm with a cap and twist applicator. The product looks clean and pharmacy-ish to me. I received the red color, another shade available is the pink color.

The balm stick looks like a pretty rosewood color. I wonder how the pink one will turn out!

Swatch of the lip treatment balm. The red color turns out faint, which is alright if you do not want to use lipstick, it is a great daily lip balm, it also gives a bit of a color to the lips which looks natural.

As you can see, the balm somehow accentuates on the lines on the lips but I think it does not appear obvious without flash and close ups. It does moisturize my lips, I think the balm can even stay a long time if I didn't eat or drink, else it will fade and I had to reapply them again, which is fine for me as I need to finish the product as well. It does not really sink into the lips, the balm feels like it is sitting on the lips ----- I am okay with this too. I don't feel any discomfort while using the product. This too has a faint Bulgarian Rose scent.

What I like about it is that it gives out a bit of a color that made my lips look healthy. I can't go out with my bare/original lip color, I think I look pale, haha. I carry this lip balm whenever I go to college, it is in my 'essential's pouch!

Cons -

- none? I think it is an okay lip balm.

Will I purchase?

Maybe, but I'd like to experience the pink color lip treatment balm!

Will I recommend?

Yes! This is moisturizing enough for me as I have normal lips. I am not sure how it will work on dry/chapped lips, hope it will be moisturizing as well.

My favorite product among the 3 Isoi products is their lip treatment balm, the serum and fresh gel cream are not a bad product overall, it is just that it does not do much of what it claims to my skin. I wonder if the effects will be different on other users. I am also curious to experiment their other products, the brand is also void of harmful ingredients too.

Isoi Blemish Care Mask Whitening & Moisture Review

Mask was fully soaked in its clear essence but does not drip, has a tissue texture like any other face masks, smells somehow oily so I guess it must have been the Bulgarian Rose Oil. Fitting was a bit big for me especially on the forehead but it only covers half of my nose, the fitting can be adjusted and adheres well. The remaining essence was only enough for my arms. Time: approx 20 mins

🌹 Results: no instant whitening effect but oh boy, this mask is really really moisturizing and hydrating. My skin felt softer and suppler. The aftertouch feels like as if I am putting on facial oil on my face, it doesn't really absorb into my skin until the effect disappeared in the morning, woke up with lightened blemishes too. No breakouts. I even skipped my usual PM skincare routine because the mask is moisturizing enough for my oily skin.

🌹 May or might not purchase because I don't like the oily feeling on my skin. But definitely recommended to people with dry skin because it really helps.
