Benton Cacao Moist and Mild Cream Review | Lightweight cream for summer

Annyeong, Everyone~
My shark week is coming soon so I kinda feel sentimental today.
I want to be by my man's side.
24/7.

Disclaimer: I received the product from Benton to test and provide my honest review. I do not get any compensation by doing so.

Benton Story

‘Benton’ is inspired by and named after the movie’ The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. In the movie, Benjamin had no choice but to leave his love, Daisy as he becomes younger. What if Daisy could have also turned back time on her physical appearance, wouldn’t she be happier? It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn’t most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton desires to restore your skin back to its original, healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production.

My Thoughts

➤ Spoiler: I FREAKIN LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CREAM!
➤ First of all, my first impression of the product's name is that I thought it is going to be heavy and I was like, "are you serious? this cream for summer?". Boy, my impressions were wrong after trying out this cream.
➤ Anyway I was still excited to try out Benton's newest product when I received an email from them. I am honored!

➤Before going to the review, I just want to note you guys that my skin type is OILY  and ACNE-PRONE and I live in a tropical country.
➤I also want to note that CACOA SEED BUTTER (10%), the 2nd ingredient has a HIGH ACNE TRIGGER RATING which is reported in its COSDNA.

➤I received this cream exactly last week and I am given a week to test and report my review to Benton.
➤As an acne prone person, of course I was careful when introducing new products to my face. (Most of the time) I conduct patch tests before applying the cream on my whole face. If you are acne prone, please play safe as well cause you do not know what reaction will happen. (I will write a blog post on how I conduct patch testing).

My Review (Finally cause I talk alot)

➤After days of patch testing, I am HAPPY to report that this cream doesn't break me out and causes clogging despite me being doubtful on the 1st and 2nd ingredients which are CACAO EXTRACT 63% and CACAO SEED BUTTER 10%.
I have an oily skin and this doesn't cause extra oiliness when I squeeze out the right amount. A little goes a long way. I talked about the finish under the CONSISTENCY section above.
➤It is lightweight and yet still replenish my skin with the moisture and hydration that it needs. It is the kind of go-to cream for a short routine or when you are lazy or rushing.
➤In my case, I don't have much to talk about especially when the PRODUCT JUST WORKS AS IT CLAIMS.

Pros

➤Doesn't break me out, doesn't cause clogging on me
➤No alcohols, parabens, no animal derivatives, no colouring
➤Lightweight
➤Scentless
➤Doesn't cause extra oiliness (if you don't squeeze out too much).
➤Moisturizing
➤Pick-me-up cream when you are lazy or rushing

Cons

➤NONE!!!!! YEAYYYYY

Loveeee the light pink and pretty packaging~

My Final Thoughts

➤I love this cream for being lightweight and amazing to me. It is also a nice cream to use to seal in our skincare routine.
➤I would definitely love to use this cream again and would spend money on it in the future!!!

Ahhh....finally, a deserving weekend. Hiiiii! Hows everyone's week so far?? Mine has been just fine, it has been 5 days since school started and I am enjoying most of my class sessions to date though at times I feel sleepy haha and it seems like our class has gotten great lecturers so far! I bought the lipstick along with Rimmel London's blusher brush from a local makeup seller @naturecarebeauty on Instagram. The brush is my first possession from the brand Rimmel London too. The lipstick was SGD6 and the brush is SGD5. Rebel With Cause. This lipstick is said to be a dupe for MAC's Rebel. Since I am amazed with Rebel With Cause , I decided to purchase 100% Vamp. My First IPL (Intense Pulse Light) Experience

It is already the month of Halloween, which is October and also, this month marks the Princess's 20th birthday at the end of the month mwehehehehhehehehehehhehehehehhe. It is only 3 months left to 2016. It always amazes me how time flies so fast without realizing. In this post, I will talk about my very first IPL treatment on both of my underarms! Second The Face Shop Haul + Mini Review

The Haul Finally, I am able to post about my second The Face Shop Haul in this blog! This post must have been overdue because I bought the items on 30th October 2015. But whatever, let me show you what I've gotten! I have gotten myself a total of 6 items. The other two are free. The freebies are the birthday gifts which consist of an aloe face mask and urgh.....verbena samples again (you know I hate the scent alot as mentioned on THIS post. But I used them anyway because it would be such a waste to not use it). My birthday falls on the next day so I decided to retrieve the birthday gifts in advance. The other freebie is the Cherry Blossom hair mist which I have gotten for purchasing above BND 49.00. It smells so heavenly! Guys would definitely fall for the scent, haha. The face mask packaging has my boyfriend's face on it. Now let me address the pricing for every items that I've got; #1 Lovely me:ex Trendy High Shine 2-Step Nail Buffer - BND 3.90...
