Simple Skincare Kind To Eyes Eye Make-Up Remover Review | Lookfantastic Mini Review

Annyeong, Everyone~
I ordered this Simple Skincare Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Remover off Lookfantastic because I was looking for a replacement to my favourite point makeup remover which is the Boomdeahdah Lip & Eye Remover.

It was my first time buying something from Lookfantastic and I think their service is quite good. It is a UK-based online store that ships worldwide for FREE. I live for free shipping sites!!!! I remembered that I ordered sometime in November 2016 and my order got shipped out ON THE SAME DAY. I was amazed at their fast shipping service. The free shipping didn't come with a tracking number but thats alright. It arrived a month to Brunei and my small item was packed in a big box. They also included a voucher to use within the UK but unfortunately I had to throw it out since I'm not living in the UK. Overall I'm happy shopping with Lookfantastic and would definitely buy from them again. My item was received in a good condition too, no leakage and wrapped with bubble wrap.

Simple Skincare Kind To Eyes Eye Makeup Remover

Price: SGD 3/50ml + free shipping

DESCRIPTION (taken from Lookfantastic)

Catering for sensitive skin types, the Simple Kind to Eyes Make-Up Remover effortlessly dissolves all traces of make-up from the lashes and lids to reveal a refreshed, purified appearance. Enriched with Pro-Vitamin B5, the eye make-up remover eliminates even waterproof mascara without over-drying or uncomfortable tightness.

Free from oil and artificial perfume and colours. Dermatologically tested.

Directions:

Apply to cotton wool and wipe gently around the eye area without rubbing.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Poloxamer 184, Butylene Glycol, Ceteth-20, PEG-20 Glyceryl Laurate, Laureth-23, Panthenol, Disodium Phosphate, Calcium Disodium EDTA, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, Sodium Methylparaben, Sodium Phosphate, Citric Acid, BHT, Pantolactone, Tocopheryl Acetate.

Packaging:

⇴ Small travel-friendly plastic bottle with cap
⇴ Dispense through small hole on top

Consistency:

⇴ Clear watery
⇴ Scentless
⇴ Have to use within 9 months after opening

Performance:

⇴ I have Sigma eyeshadows, MAC Chatterbox lipstick and Luxe Pineapple Waterproof Eyeliner in Navy swatched on my arm

⇴ I dispensed a coin sized amount on a cotton pad
⇴ The swatches above were cleaned with just one swipe!!!!
⇴ The Sigma eyeshadows on the left were cleared out easily while the MAC lipstick and eyeliner I had to put in more effort

⇴ Overall it removes the eyeshadows, lipstick and eyeliner well

On My Eyes:

⇴ It performs just the same on my eyes for non-stubborn eyeshadows and eyeliners however...
⇴ It doesn't really do a good job in removing strong waterproof eyeliners and mascara. For these I need to use a bi-phase eye makeup remover that contains oil + water to melt the makeup

Pros:

⇴ Removes non-stubborn makeup well
⇴ Doesn't sting my eyes
⇴ Scentless, travel friendly packaging

Cons:

⇴ Extra effort is needed for strong waterproof mascara and eyeliner
⇴ Not strong enough for eye makeup with strong adherence
⇴ Eventhough it doesn't sting, I noticed that this gives a small bump on my eye skin...
⇴ The bump fortunately went away naturally after I stopped using it

My Final Thoughts

⇴ This will do great for light makeup and eye makeup that can be easily removed
⇴ I'd love to continue using it but it irritates my eye skin by giving me bumps...
⇴ it's too bad because it is hard to find an eye makeup remover that doesn't sting
⇴ if only this doesn't give me bumps then I'd love to repurchase it
⇴ Now I have to look for other eye makeup remover. I currently have the Garnier Miscellar Water unopened in my stash and I will try that out for removing eye makeup

[REVIEW] Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause & 100% Vamp

Ahhh....finally, a deserving weekend. Hiiiii! Hows everyone's week so far?? Mine has been just fine, it has been 5 days since school started and I am enjoying most of my class sessions to date though at times I feel sleepy haha and it seems like our class has gotten great lecturers so far! Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause Review Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick 100% Vamp Review Makeup Revolution's Amazing Lipstick Rebel With Cause is the first makeup product that I tried from the brand (and I've fallen inlove with it). I bought the lipstick along with Rimmel London's blusher brush from a local makeup seller @naturecarebeauty on Instagram. The brush is my first possession from the brand Rimmel London too. The lipstick was SGD6 and the brush is SGD5. Rebel With Cause. This lipstick is said to be a dupe for MAC's Rebel. Since I am amazed with Rebel With Cause , I decided to purchase 100% Vamp. There are 30 ...

Purple Tale Unboxing + Once Upon A Neck Cream Review

A week ago I received a lovely PR package from one of the brands that I have always been curious about, Purpletale . I discovered about brand when I first saw Ryanraroar's  (Singaporean male beauty blogger) Instagram post about it a few months back. My curiosity of the brand developed since then, I just thought that they were unique and captivating in some kind of way. I feel very grateful and lucky when Purpletale have given me the chance to try out their products. I was asked to choose 2 products that I wanted to review, I choose their Once Upon A Neck Cream - because I thought I need to take more care of my neck and Setting the Scene Essence - hoping that it can help to fade my blemishes since  it contains stellar ingredients such as ginseng, peptide complexes, adenosine and niacinamide As soon as I opened the box, not only it is lightly scented, I also didn't expect to receive more than the 2 intended products! PT wow-ed me with their gene...

Boomdeahdah Mild & Pure Cleansing Oil | Comparison Review

Hello, Everyone! Not sure if I can call this a comparison review because there is ONLY ONE (or two or three) difference between these two hahah anyway, lets get into it! Sometime in August, I received an unexpectedly generous package from Boomdeahdah , a Korean Beauty company. Their motto is " We Love The World " which I think is cute. I can't get much info about the company since there is no English translation on their website, but the motto seems to mean that they are focusing on using natural ingredients. I received a total of 6 products from them, they are too kind! In this post I am just going to talk about 2 of the products I received to review, which are their MILD and PURE cleansing oils. I've talked about their Pure Cleansing Water and Eye & Lip Makeup Remover on my Instagram, both which I really love and wanted to purchase. Boomdeahdah Mild Cleansing Oil(180ml) Price: 8,900₩ Ingredients of the Mild Cleansing Oil B...
